The iCue Base is a RF (Radio Frequency) transceiver base unit that collects the signals from all of H-ITT’s RF clickers and sends the data to the computer via USB cable.

The RX 4000 is totally portable and
can be moved from location to location. Line of site is not needed between the
remote and the base unit allowing for a simpler installation and easier use for
students and audiences since the remotes to not have to be aimed at a specific
location.
The RF system has a much higher response speed than an IR system being
able to handle hundreds of responses in 1 second.

The iCue Pro is a handheld RF (Radio Frequency) transmitter that is used by students or audience members to respond to questions posed by the instructor. The remotes have 20 buttons and provide responses (student answers) ranging from simple multiple choice to multi-digit, alpha-numeric answers. A HI-RES LCD provides user visible confirmation for text answers, plus status fields that make for ease of use. The iCue Pro is two-way; both the LCD screen and a green light on the remote provides confirmation the response is received.

They have 13 buttons for up to 10 response choices A-J or 0-9, forward and reverse keys for indexing through test questions, and a multi-function button for changing RF channels, or special status functions. When a response key is pressed, the light on the remote turns red, and when the response is successfully received by the base unit the light on the remote will turn green giving user confirmation the response was received.

The iBright Base unit is and IR (Infrared) transceiver that collects the signals from the H-ITT iBright remotes and sends the data to the computer. It connects to a computer via USB port or to a serial port. There is no limit to the number of IR remotes that can be used, however, for best performance we recommend approximately 35 “seats” for each iBright Base.
